Latest 2021 Hyundai Model Line-Up - What to Expect

It's no secret that every year Hyundai manufactures a wide range of vehicles in hopes of fitting everyone's individual needs. However, with many Hyundai vehicles receiving updates every year, it can be confusing trying to compare the right one for you. To help eliminate any confusion, here is a look at some of our popular 2021 Hyundai models.

 

Hyundai Sedans

 

2021 Elantra

 

Hyundai is introducing the new seventh-generation Elantra this year. The stunning sedan has been redesigned to be more stylish and convenient than ever before. The exterior features an upgraded design that makes the car resemble a sports car, instead of a sedan. The interior has been upgraded as well and comes with a wide range of high-tech features including a new infotainment system and more standard safety features. The Elantra comes standard with a SmartSense safety system that comes with several driver-assist features including lane-departure warning, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, driver attention monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. The 2021 Elantra also comes standard with a 2.0-litre engine that gets an impressive fuel economy rating and delivers 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft of torque.

 

For the first time ever, the Elantra is also being offered in the N Line trim this year. The N line adds a level of sportiness to the interior and exterior. The exterior features a uniquely designed grille and front bumper. The rear receives a newly designed bumper, chrome twin exhaust, and a rear lip-spoiler. The interior features a sunroof, alloy foot pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather sport seats, red stitching and trim accents, and a wireless phone charger.

 

2021 Accent

 

Other than Forge Grey now being offered as an exterior colour, the 2021 Hyundai Accent does not see too many changes this year. The Accent features a spacious interior that is able to seat up to five adults. The sedan comes standard with a 5-ich touchscreen display that allows you to connect your phone via USB and auxiliary ports. The available 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with Sirius XM radio as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both displays offer Bluetooth connectivity options.

 

The 2021 Accent comes standard with a 1.6-litre engine and is able to deliver up to 120 horsepower. This speedy engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission.

 

2021 Sonata

 

The Sonata has long been known as one of the most stylish family sedans on the market. This year, the Sonata remains largely unchanged and features a versatile interior and a powerful engine. The luxurious interior features a large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is also a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that is fully customizable.

 

The Sonata comes standard with a 1.6-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 180 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft of torque. One thing that is new with the Sonata is that it will now also offer the N Line trim. This trim will add a 2.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 290 horsepower to the vehicle.

 

Hyundai SUVs

 

2021 Palisade

 

This year, the Palisade does not see many changes. However, there is a new available Calligraphy trim that is now offered. This trim adds a newly redesigned grille and front bumper, premium rear LED accent lighting, 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and exterior welcome lighting. The interior gets quilted leather door panels, a microfiber suede headliner, and a perforated leather steering wheel.

 

2021 Santa Fe

 

The new Santa Fe features an upgraded exterior design that is highlighted by new LED T-shaped headlights and a wider and bolder grille. There are also several driver-assist features that are now standard on all trim levels. The infotainment display has also been upgraded to include a large 8-inch touchscreen display, but a 10,3-inch display is available. Both displays come standard with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

 

The Santa Fe also adds a new engine option to the vehicle. This impressive SUV comes standard with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that delivers 191 horsepower. A turbocharged version is available and delivers up to 277 horsepower.
