Exterior Design
The Santa Cruz has managed to pack a lot of practical and stylish features into its compact body. Unlike other pickup trucks, the cab and the bed of the Santa Cruz are essentially just one big piece. The front fascia has an elegant design highlighted by the unique front grille. The bright LED headlights are hidden inside of the grille to make the design even more unique.
In the rear of the vehicle, you will find the spacious bed that was specifically designed to keep all of your gear and other cargo items safe. Once you have placed all of your items into the bed, you can then close the standard sliding and lockable tonneau cover. Smaller items can be kept in the waterproof storage container located under the floor of the bed. A 115-volt power outlet is located on the inner wall of the bed to help you keep all of your tools and electronic gear charged.
Interior Design
The Santa Cruz comes with a luxurious and spacious cabin. It can comfortably seat up to five adults and offers plenty of legroom for both the front and the backseat passengers. If you need to haul some items in the cabin, the rear seats are able to flip up to provide more interior cargo space.
There is also a wide range of luxurious features including standard heated front seats and a standard leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. There are also available ventilated front seats to help keep you cool in the summer and an available dual-zone automatic climate control system to help keep all occupants of the vehicle comfortable.
Entertainment and Technology
The Santa Cruz comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display; however, a 10-inch display is available. Both displays come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To help ensure that everyone in the vehicle can clearly hear their favourite song, the Santa Cruz also comes with an available Bose sound system that features eight speakers placed throughout the cabin.
Power and Performance
The Santa Cruz offers two powerful engine options to choose from. The standard 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and delivers 191 horsepower and 181 lb.-ft of torque. The available 2.5-litre Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is paired to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters and can deliver up to 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft of torque.
