Both of these vehicles receive several exciting new updates this year. Here is a look at some of the updates that you can expect to find on the Tucson and the Rogue.
2022 Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson has been completely redesigned from the ground up. The exterior features a new bold design that is highlighted by the new LED headlights that are integrated into the newly redesigned grille. The rest of the body has also received a new and sharp design. On the inside, the refreshed cabin features a more luxurious and handsome design. There are also more standard high-tech features and more standard safety features this year.
2022 Nissan Rogue
This year, the Rogue remains mainly unchanged. However, it does receive a new engine option. The Rogue no longer offers the 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that was available last year. Instead, Nissan has decided to replace the sluggish engine with a faster 1.5-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine.
Interior Comparison
The Tucson has a spacious and luxurious interior. The Tucson's cabin is able to seat up to five passengers and offers a large rear cargo area that is big enough to hold all of your luggage, groceries, and other gear. There is also a wide range of high-end features inside of the Tucson, including heated front seats and available leather upholstery, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and available rear heated seats. To add another level of luxury to the interior, the Tucson also offers an available large panoramic sunroof.
The Tucson also comes with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display; however, a larger 10.3-inch touchscreen is available. Both displays come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The larger display adds a built-in navigation system.
The Rogue also offers a spacious interior; however, it does not offer as much legroom for the backseat passengers. Also, the Rogue comes with cloth upholstery that feels a bit stiff and does not offer the amount of comfort that the Tucson offers. The Rogue comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen display. If you want a larger display, you will only be able to get the available 9-inch display.
Power and Performance
The Tucson offers three impressive and efficient powertrains to choose from. The standard 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and is able to deliver 187 horsepower. There is also a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid option that both work with a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine. The hybrid version delivers 277 horsepower and the plug-in hybrid version is able to deliver up to 261 horsepower.
The Rogue Only offers one powertrain. The standard 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can deliver up to 201 horsepower.
