5-Year/100,000 KM New Vehicle Limited Warranty
Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

The following components are covered for the time and kilometer limits indicated:

  • Radio and audio systems (i.e., radio, compact disc player, DVD player, navigation system, and Bluetooth®): 3 years/60,000 kilometers
  • Paint: 3 years/60,000 kilometers
  • Battery: 2 years/40,000 kilometers
  • Air conditioner refrigerant charge: 1 year/unlimited kilometers
  • Adjustments: 1 year/20,000 kilometers
  • Wear items: 1 year/20,000 kilometers (e.g., belts, brake pads and linings, clutch linings, bulbs)

Hyundai’s Warranty does more than give you peace of mind, it’s a commitment from Hyundai to maintain a high degree of quality, dependability, and reliability.

5-Year/100,000 KM Powertrain Protection
Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e., selected engine and transmission/transaxle components), originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

5-Year/Unlimited KM Anti-Perforation Warranty
Covers perforation (rust hole through the body panel from inside to outside) corrosion of original Hyundai body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. (excludes surface corrosion)

8-Year/160,000 KM Hybrid Warranty
Covers the described components up to a total of 96 months from the Warranty Registration Date, or 160,000 km, whichever occurs first.

  • Hybrid Battery Pack Assembly
  • Hybrid Starter & Generator
  • Hybrid Power Control Unit
  • Auto Transmission including Traction Motor

3-Year/Unlimited KM 24-Hour Roadside Assistance
Covers vehicle, regardless if current owner is original or subsequent owner.
Includes the following roadside amenities:

  • Towing for inoperable disablements, including accidents
  • Battery jump starts
  • Changing flat tire
  • Lock-out assistance
  • Out of gas assistance
  • Trip interruption
  • Travel Planner (effective from 2012 model year)

Note: Equus 24-Hour Roadside Assistance is covered for 5 years/Unlimited kilometers.

Replacement Parts & Accessories Limited Warranty
Covers repair or replacement of any Hyundai Genuine Replacement Parts or Accessories supplied by Hyundai Auto Canada Corporation that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

Genuine Hyundai Parts or Accessories supplied by Hyundai and purchased from an authorized Hyundai Dealer, but not installed by an authorized Hyundai Dealer, are covered for 12 months/unlimited kilometers. Automatic Transmissions and engines purchased by the Customer are warranted to be free from defects for a period of 12 months, or 20,000 km, whichever occurs first.

Accessories installed on a vehicle at the time of or prior to the vehicle's date of first use are covered for 3 years/60,000 kilometers.

Accessories installed by an authorized Hyundai Dealer after the vehicle's date of first use are covered for the remainder of the 3 year/60,000 kilometer warranty or 12 months/20,000 kilometers whichever is greater.

8-Year/130,000 KM Major Emission Defect & Performance Warranty
Covers repair or replacement of the following original Hyundai major emissions control components that cause the vehicle to fail to conform to federal emissions regulations:

  • Catalytic Converter
  • Engine Control Module
  • Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device (OBD-II)

Other emissions warranty parts are covered under the 5-Year/100,000 kilometer New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
